2017 Summer Season

May 15 to September 15, 2017  (conditions permitting) - Find us immediately on the left as you enter the grounds of the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge resort

One Hour Ride

Cowboy Up:  For a genuine Western experience, enjoy the wilderness of Jasper from your saddle.  There is a good chance you'll see an elk or a bear, as you ride along Lake Annette and catch a glimpse of Lake Edith and Lake Trefoil.  This is a great family ride. 6 years of age and up.

Approximately 6 km.
9AM,  10AM,  11AM, 1PM,  2PM,  3PM,  4PM.
RATES:   $47.00 per person

Two Hour Ride

Happy Trails:  Mountain trails at their best.  Ride along the mighty Athabasca River, before ascending to viewpoints above the valley and over Canada's #1 golf course. There is a good chance of a bear sighting on this trail.  For "fit" riders with a little bit of previous horse experience.

RATES: $84.00 per person



All rates subject to 5% GST and 2% DMF (destination management fee)
  • Helmets advised (mandatory for riders under 18), at no charge
  • All riders under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult
  • For your safety, no back packs please


What to Bring on Your Ride

Horseback rides require a little planning and foresight to make your time in the saddle comfortable. Some suggestions:

  • Comfortable long pants
  • Riding boots or sturdy walking shoes
  • Jacket for occasional afternoon showers or cool weather
  • Cowboy hat (or other sun hat)
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug spray
  • Small camera

Weight Restrictions

We try to accommodate everyone.  We have some larger horses and saddles and a very good mounting step system.  However we do have some restrictions on weight.  Please contact us for information (780) 883-0506.

Cancellation  Policies

We request cancellations be advised 2 hours in advance.
Severe weather cancellations are accepted always.
We work under the permit of Parks Canada and are subject to Park regulations.
